PE | Strength & Conditioning Update

Welcome from the PE department. It has been a long winter, and the PE program is ready for some nice weather as we finish up April. On a normal year, we have been outside throughout the month of April, but what is normal anymore! The winter months in the MS/HS PE Program have been busy, covering units such as basketball, pickleball, badminton and floor hockey. We spent three weeks at the end of February into March at the bowling alley, and we are always grateful for Tom and Wanda Huisman for working their schedules out so we get to use the bowling alley, it is a great place and the kids have a lot of fun.

Strength and Conditioning classes have had a good winter, working hard on improving their numbers in the weight room and working hard on their overall strength and conditioning. On our last testing period, we had over 60 new maxes set! We also had visits from both the National Guard as well as the US Army, bringing us challenging fun activities. We are crossing our fingers for better weather so we can finish the year outside with softball, frisbee golf and various fitness activities.
