Easter Fun!
This week was a fun, but busy week in Mrs. Metzger's Kindergarten classroom! We got to play with Easter eggs all week during math and literacy centers. Some of the activities we did were: race to 20, adding objects, number bonds, matching tallies, number words, and numbers, and counting on. On Friday, Mrs. Metzger hid 78 easter eggs around the room and pairs of students worked to unscramble the sight words that were hidden in them. The students then got to right their sight words in their section of the giant egg using sharpie marker.
We have had such a fun year, and it is bittersweet that the students will be first graders in just 28 days! Until then, we will have more fun learning!
