Student of the Month is… a significant part of the fine arts department at Central Lyon. This dedicated drum major has been in band, jazz band, choir, swing choir, and jazz choir for four years, has directed the high school band on the football field and in concert, and has been selected to have the honor of being a member of the All-State Choir for the past two years. He also participates in small group contest each year earning Division 1 ratings on his solos and ensembles. He has had a vital role in the play for four years, and has been the lead in the musical for multiple years. He is a four-year member of large group speech having qualified for all-state speech his sophomore year, and is the current student council treasurer. He is an academic leader who is consistently on the high honor roll and is the current vice-president of the National Honor Society.
