January
January’s senior student of the month is a significant part of multiple programs at Central Lyon. This dedicated TATU member and student council vice president has been in choir, swing choir, and jazz choir. She has also participated in vocal contests throughout her high school career. In the past she has been in basketball and softball, and has been an integral part of the volleyball team for four years. The place she publicly shines is as a cheerleader for football and basketball. She was one of the football cheerleading captains for two years, has been on state honor squads, and cheered on Special Olympians. She is an academic leader who is consistently on the high honor roll and is a two-year member of the National Honor Society.
