Our first student of the month kept himself very busy throughout the summer. He was involved in several FFA projects throughout the summer including a camp director for the Farm and Home Safety Camp, assisting the Lyon County Pork Producers and Lyon County Fair Board pouring cement and making other improvements to the swine facility at the fairgrounds. He also assisted his fellow FFA members with the manure removal throughout the week and immediately following the Lyon county Fair. Along with that he also worked full time with his uncle’s and brother’s farming operations throughout the summer. Finally, on Saturday nights he worked on the pit crew of a local racing team, never missed any of his summer speed camp workouts and is Team Co-Captain on this year’s football team.
