Recycling Project

So far, the amount of recycling collected since the beginning of the year totals in at 4,138.4. Students will continue to pick up from the recycling containers every Tuesday and Thursday morning until the end of 4th quarter. The schedule will change during May term.  Last year 6,458 pounds of recyclables was collected.

The Environmental Science class took over the school's recycling program during the 2015-2016 school year.  Under the guidance of Mrs. Ebel, they picked up all the recycling from each classroom twice a week and we were able to recycle 7067 pounds during the initial year; that is over 3.5 tons!

We are still collecting markers which is new this year. The rooms that have marker collection containers include Mr. Huisman, Mrs. Dittsworth, Mrs. Sieperda, Mrs. Kahl, Mrs. Snyders, and Mrs. Ebel.  Please bring us your markers as they run out, all markers are accepted.
