Studies have shown that the kinesthetic learner remembers best, when they experience what they learn.  Kinesthetic learning involves the use of the whole body rather than just hands on.  In my room we are always trying different ways to help our students learn. Some of there favorite learning activities are throwing the ball at the sight words, playing hop scotch, practicing writing their sight words in shaving cream, and bouncing on the ball while saying their sight words or spelling words. Some may think we are just playing in our room, but really we are learning-just in a different way!
