Fourth grade students from Mrs. Schram’s section skyped with author Jacqueline Jules.  Mrs. Schrick facilitated the opportunity to visit “live” with Ms. Jules.  She is the author of Unite or Die How Thirteen States Became a Nation

Students had an opportunity to listen to the book during Social Studies class and discussed the book prior to visiting with Ms. Jules.  The class is also presenting the Readers Theater version of the book.  The children enjoyed learning how an author writes and publishes children's books. Thank you Mrs. Schrick for this WONDERFUL opportunity!
