Thankful for....BOOKS!

Happy Thanksgiving! Our class has been working hard with their independent reading skills lately. We love to grab our book boxes and get lost in books that a "good fit" for us. The students use tools to help them read. In the pictures, you can see students using magnifying glasses to look at the pictures of the book to help them decode the words. This kinder crew also has googly eyes that they use to point to each word as they read.

While we love reading independently, we love to read books about Nibbles, the book monster! This is a frequently requested read in our classroom, and we have loved searching for books in our library that Nibbles may have eaten!
