Paper Chains

 This week we did a STEAM lesson on Mechanical Science called "Building a Paper Chain". The challenge was to work with a partner to build the longest paper chain using only 1 piece of paper.  At the end of 20 minutes, we measured each chain to the nearest inch and then placed them in order from shortest to longest.  As you can see there was great teamwork along with lots of math and science learned today!  Way to go, 2nd graders!
