Valentine's Day Celebration
Valentine's Day means lots of yummy food, games, crafts, and sweet notes from your friends. The kids in Mrs. Snyders' class had a great time celebrating the day. The party started with snacks and a drink provided by Crystal L. and Kayla E. Next, the kids worked on a special Valentine's Day craft. They made love bugs to take home to their sweethearts. Special thanks to the Amy H. for organizing the craft for our party. A lot of preparation went into painting the tubes, cutting out the wings, and sorting the pieces into individual baggies. Lastly, the kids played a game called Left, Right, Center. Each child started out with five candy hearts. They took turns rolling three dice and following the directions on the dice. The play continued until we went to lunch. The player with the most candy hearts was our winner. Special thanks to Kellie M. for organizing this game for our class.
