Missoula Children’s Theater

Register by 3:00pm February 25

This form is to pre-register your child for the upcoming Missoula Children’s theater production of Sleeping Beauty.  The Missoula company is limiting participation this year, so River Valley Players has to narrow down the cast prior to the March 1st audition.  They are allowing 16 children ages Kindergarten-7 years old, 44 ages 8-18 years, and 4 student directors. We have had more than the total 64 sign up already, so we will have to go to a lottery system to narrow it down.

Chosen participants will be required to be at auditions Monday, March 1 from 3:30-5:30.  Each chosen student is guaranteed a spot, but the Missoula people will just need to put them into the proper role.  The younger kids usually only rehearse a few nights next week from 3:30-5:30.  The bigger roles will start rehearsing at 6 Monday and will need to be available every night next week; 3:30-5:30 and 6:00-8:00.  These kids will need to bring a sack lunch as they will not be allowed to leave.  ALL kids will rehearse Friday at 3:30 and the show will be at 7:30.

There is a $15 fee for participating kids. This helps off-set the costs of bringing Missoula to our community.

The performance is 7:30 Friday evening and is $10 for adults and $5 for school-aged kids.  Masks will be required, as the Central Lyon school policy includes masks.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact RVP via our facebook page, or email Sheila Maxwell at smaxwell@centrallyon.org

Registration has a deadline of February 25, at 3:00pm.
