Lions Concession Stand
Have you ever walked through the door of Central Lyon High School and smelled the fresh popcorn popping? Along with popcorn, the concession stand offers many delicious options. You may choose cookies, candy, hotdogs, subs, ice cream, pizza, and drinks. Over the past 20 years, Steve Breske has been in charge of providing great options for people who come to cheer on the Lions. The cookies, which were added several years ago, have proven to be very popular! Popcorn is also a popular choice. In addition to Steve, Anne Ageson helps prepare and manage the indoor concession stand. Patty Perrett is in charge of the outdoor concession stand and does a terrific job keeping hot chocolate on hand for those sometimes chilly football games!
Having a successful concession stand depends on workers for the events. Parents of the students in music and athletics take turns working. Early in the school year, Central Lyon sends a link through JMC that allows parents to sign up for time slots. If you are a parent, and would like to sign up to work, you may also call the high school office. The money raised from the concession stand is divided between the music and athletic booster clubs. Next time you attend an event, visit the concession stand and support the music and athletic students of Central Lyon. They appreciate your support!
