Just a friendly reminder while watching the performances: NO recording or video taping of ANY performance without the approval of the IHSSA (Iowa High School Speech Association) Office.  The recording of a performance can lead to disqualification for that group.

“Large Group Speech is a simple way to interact with people you don’t necessarily always do. I have formed friendships that I never saw could happen and I’m so thankful for that. When preparing, it may seem like you aren’t making any progress, but I promise it will all be worth it in the end. The early morning practices and all of the lines messed up and fixed are all contribution to competition day. Competition day is very overwhelming but when getting ready for a performance and the nervous butterflies that come in your stomach, that’s the best feeling. Then, when done with a performance you can look back and see how well it went and reflect on all of the progress made and the hard work put into all of this.”
