My name is Ben Docker, and I have been teaching at Central Lyon since 2004. I teach American History, Government, Psychology, Sociology, and Economics. During May-term I teach courses on the Holocaust, state and local government, and the Civil War in addition to American history. I am also a middle school boys and girls basketball coach and the head baseball coach. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my wife Kelli and our three kids (Ellie, Brody, and Kaycie), following my favorite sports teams (the Iowa State Cyclones, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago Bears), and traveling.

On my site you can find some basic course information, but in order to see the most up-to-date info, you should create a parent account for Canvas using the following link: https://centrallyon.instructure.com/login/ldap. There you will find course specific information, daily activity schedules for each course, course syllabi, chapter notes, student homework assignments, and more.
