Math ACT

Starting second semester, I am offering a math ACT prep class during our DEAR time at the end of the day.  This will give students a good overview of what types of questions will be asked on the ACT.  We will also talk about strategies that should be used in taking a timed multiple choice test.  My goal is to give the students enough repetitions with ACT-like problems so they are more comfortable as they are taking the test.  I believe that the math part is one that a student can review for and boost their score.  My hope is that the students will get better scores than they would have if they did not take this ACT prep class.
