Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #8The 3rd graders have been working very hard this school year. In my Science class, the students have been using interacticve notebooks throughout the school week. Interactive notebooks are a different way in which students can learn. Here are some reasons why I chose to use interactive notebooks this year in my classroom.
1. It gives the students a way to organize their thoughts.
2. It accommodates to many learning styles that the kiddos may have.
3. It builds and strengthens the student-teacher interactive in the classroom.
4. It is a resource for the kids to use as they extend their learning.
5. It is a way students can take ownership of their learning.
This has been such a positive addition to my classroom and I feel the students are gaining knowledge through this experience. Please take a look at some of the pictures to see what we have been learning about!
