A Verb is an Action Word
My 4th grades just started their English unit on verbs. I introduce this unit with this Verb Rap song. The students have so much fun acting out the action verbs. We dig deeper into verbs in 4th grade to include linking and helping verbs. We will complete an interactive journal page on helping and linking verbs. These journals have become so helpful in review lessons and reviewing for tests. The extra time that we spend on them is worth every minute!
