Superintendent Jorth

Mr. Jorth joined Central Lyon as superintendent July 1, 2019, coming to us from Webster City Community Schools. Mr. Jorth received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University in 2002, a Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership from Drake University in 2009 and his Superintendent’s Endorsement from the University of Northern Iowa in 2018.

Superintendent Jorth began his teaching career in Baxter, Iowa as a social studies teacher and football and boys’ basketball coach. He then went to Van Meter and Indianola schools as a teacher and coach, followed by administrative experiences at Coon Rapids-Bayard and his most recent position in Webster City.
