Welcome to my web page. My name is Michelle Van Wyhe and I have been teaching at Central Lyon since 1993. I teach K-4 Title I reading part-time and am a literacy coach part-time.  The best part about teaching reading is seeing students set goals to improve and learn to love reading!  My family and I live on a farm near Rock Rapids. My husband manages two hog confinements and raises crops. We have 3 children: Riley attends the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!) and Rex and Regan attend Central Lyon (Go Lions!). I enjoy attending sporting events, doing activities with my family, and reading.
