I have been a Reading Specialist at Central Lyon since 2015.  I was born, raised, and currently live in Luverne, Minnesota.  I graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 2004 with a BA in Elementary Education.  I previously taught Reading Recovery for three years and first grade for two years in the Sioux Falls School District.  I also have experience teaching preschool.  I am very excited to be at Central Lyon and look forward to taking on a new challenge of Reading Specialist.  

 

On a more personal level:    I have a daughter named Hazel and a son named Griffin.  They are very busy and active! When I am not busy being a hockey mom, and have a few minutes to myself I enjoy running, spending time at our family lake home, and baking.
