I have been teaching at Central Lyon since 2015.  I work as a Title 1 and ELL teacher. I was born, raised, and currently live in Luverne, Minnesota.  I graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 2004 with a BA in Elementary Education.  Prior to working at Central Lyon, I taught Reading Recovery and first grade in Sioux Falls.  I have enjoyed working at Central Lyon and have met wonderful students and families throughout the years.  

 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my teenage children.  Hazel and Griffin are both very active and keep us very busy.  I love watching my kids compete in hockey, baseball, football, and track.   Aside from that, I like spending time at the lake, running, reading, and baking.
