My name is Melia Towne. Prior to 2020, when I began working at Central Lyon, I taught for 11 years at George-Little Rock. I graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City with a degree in elementary education and have the following endorsements: middle school, K-8 reading, 5-12 reading, TAG, and coaching.

I am married to my husband, Greg, who is also a teacher at Central Lyon. We have three young daughters who also attend Central Lyon. Outside of school, I am active in the community and enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with my family.
