Industrial Technology Program
In 2015, I began teaching Industrial Technology at Central Lyon. First things first, I would like to give you some background on myself. I was raised on a farm in small town Nebraska (Go Huskers!) and pursued a college career in Lincoln, NE earning an Associates Degree in Building Construction and then a Bachelors in Industrial Technology. After graduation, I pursued a career in home construction/remodeling for three years working my way up to foreman and then owning my own business. Throughout the years, my enthusiasm for getting into the classroom and teaching young ambitious minds was never forgotten.(2015)
I am very excited to be a part of this school district and getting to know my local community. I plan on expanding the program into other subject areas that are growing in the skilled workforce. From the point of view of working in the skilled workforce, I see the importance of it and plan to bring in my knowledge base to expand the Industrial Technology program to new levels! :)
