Second Grade Field Trip
The Central Lyon second grade students took their field trip on Wednesday, May 24th. The first stop of the day was at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The kids were able to check out all the different floors and exhibits that the Washington Pavilion has to offer.
We left the Washington Pavilion and headed to McKennan Park. The weather was perfect, and we were able to enjoy our lunch outside under the shelter. The kids ate, posed for a few pictures, and played on the equipment at the park.
Our final stop of the day was at the All American Gymnastics Academy. It was one hour of nonstop action. The kids enjoyed bouncing on the trampolines, playing in the inflatables, rope climbing, the ninja course and much, much more.
A big thank you goes out to all the parents that joined us on our field trip. We could not have taken a trip like this without you!
