Community College $$ for Iowans

Future Ready Iowa Last-Dollar Scholarship

We want to make families aware of a great scholarship opportunity for high school seniors. The Last Dollar Scholarship is a state-funded program that pays tuition and mandatory fees for hundreds of programs offered through Iowa’s community colleges. Students can qualify when they meet following criteria:

• File the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

• Enroll in a program leading to a high-demand job. Find a list of schools and programs at IowaCollegeAid.gov/LastDollar.

• If all other available state and federal financial aid doesn’t cover your tuition, the Future Ready Iowa Last-Dollar Scholarship will fill the gap.

• If you’re a new high school graduate, you typically must start college full-time.

For more information, click here to view flyer and/or visit www.iowacollegeaid.gov/LastDollar to check out the eligible programs and application process.
