Girls Place 5th at State
Mariah is State Medalist
The team placed 5th in class 2A, while Mariah finished 9th as a state individual medalist. For the third consecutive year, and the first time in class 2A, the girls golf team qualified for state, which was held at American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown May 25-26. The top six individuals (and those tied for 6th place) also advanced to the next level of play. Lady lions who qualified individually were Amelia Schneidermann and Mariah Gerleman.
