My Class is Full of Sweet Hearts
This week was extra special and filled with love as we celebrated Valentine's Day here in 2nd grade. We especially loved having Oaklyn Bear join us for a couple days and share our love with her. We found some time to take silly photos with our valentine props, too. My class enjoyed working on a valentines packet filled with crossword puzzles, mazes, word searches, and I Spies for Valentine's Day throughout the week as well. Some students were surprised with special deliveries from the high school student council fundraiser that included candy and/or flower valentines from their parents, grandparents, or friends. We were treated to a super sweet party where everyone rotated through snack, game, and craft stations. At one station, we found a quiet spot to open and read our valentine cards from each other. Thanks to Kim K., Jessica K., Kyla K., Stefanie O., and Miss Trinity for helping us create wonderful, heart-filled memories. I am truly blessed with a class full of sweet hearts!
