My Class is Full of Sweet Hearts
Today was an extra special day filled with love as we celebrated Valentine's Day here in 2nd grade. My class enjoyed working on a valentines packet filled with crossword puzzles, mazes, word searches, and I Spies while I shared some fun facts about Valentine's Day. Some students were surprised with singing valentines, candy, and/or flowers from their parents throughout the day. We also found some time to take silly photos with our valentine props and read a couple valentine stories. This afternoon we were treated to a super sweet party where everyone rotated through snack, game, and craft stations. To end our time together we found a quiet spot to open and read our valentine cards from each other. Thanks to Ashley B., Kristi M., Jessie E., and Kim K. for helping us create wonderful, heart-filled memories today. I am truly blessed with a class full of sweet hearts!
