50th Day of School
Today was the 50th day of school and we filled it with all things "50". We were so excited to have the newlywed, Mrs. Weiler, back to party with us! A few highlights from our day were sharing it with Oaklyn Bear, watching our daily SEL video, posing for silly pictures with all of our 2nd grade friends, discovering our HD Word page was actually number 50 today, performing our readers theater, celebrating McKenna's birthday, solving a 50's mystery math puzzle, answering open-ended questions about the number 50, blowing bubbles with juicy, pink bubble gum, learning about toys and games that were popular in the 1950's, counting and dancing to songs from the '50's, and celebrating Mackenzie as our Star of the Week. In the afternoon, we wrapped up all of this fun with root beer floats. Cheers to living and loving our best 2nd grade lives so far this year! We can't wait to see what the 100th day of school will bring!
