Blanket Fort Learning
Today my class celebrated filling their monthly paw print sheet, which is done by earning paw prints for whole group compliments they receive for reaching PBIS expectations as well as earning individual ROAR cards. Their class reward was to bring their favorite blanket and work under blanket forts all day using their chairs and tables. They were also welcome to dress in comfy clothes, bring along a stuffed animal as well as a flashlight to simulate camping and working by candlelight. We finished out our time together in the afternoon playing games they brought from home also. As you can see from our pictures, everyone thought this was a very exciting way to relax, learn and have fun with friends. I mean who doesn't like to celebrate good times, c'mon! Keep ROARing, 2nd graders!
