We know it's the most wonderful time of the year, because we had the most wonderful time at school this month! The last 12 days of school we have been participating in the school-wide holiday dress-up days. See if you can guess from our pictures what the theme was for each day. Last week, we took some fun Christmas photos with lights and silly props to wish you and those that we love a holiday that is "merry and bright"! Today, to start off our Christmas party we had our gift exchange between boys and girls. Everyone was so grateful for what they received. Then we divided into stations to enjoy homemade Grinch cookies and Powerade, play 3 different minute-to-win-it games, and design wooden Christmas ornaments and necklaces. At lunch, we were treated to dinner and a show by the 4th grade classes as they performed a readers theater of the traditional story, The Night Before Christmas.
Special THANKS go out to Tracey H., Jamie K, Molly O., Des K. and Mrs. Schrick for bringing so much JOY to our classroom this holiday season. There is no doubt in our minds that this awesome party will "go down in history" (just like Rudolph)!
